It is time...

.. to start getting more items ready for the 2 and 3 day events coming up with the Echuca Steam Rally on the Queen's birthday long weekend in June, and the Bendigo Sheep and Wool show in July.
so a couple more yarns added to the website.
and I am adding new colours to the Poncho/Wrap as well. This garment is still selling well.

Markets this weekend are...

Saturday at Nagambie Lakes Community Market, and
Sunday at Castlemaine Artists Market.

And it is going to be hot. High 30's. Not going to be good for selling wool yarn and products.
But I will be there.

One more Market for the year...

Mooroopna Farmer's and Craft market next Sunday will be the last market for the year for me.

Hopefully the weather will be kind and not too hot. Who can look at wool during a 35-40 degree day!!

Have added some more yarn and some small items to my products.

January, I will focus on adding stock to the website. I am slowly learning about my new website, plus I will still add items to my etsy store.

How does one keep up...

..with life changes.
I have been adding some yarn to the website, but more yarn and wool tops still to be added. My machine knitting is progressing, but I still need to do handknitting projects.
Felting, what can I say, this has been very slow and need to get some more items done.
Farm projects: the dairy is finally ready and leigh has been improving fencing for the milkers. some beef heifers will be going to the market tomorrow, there is definitely no room for them here, now.

My oldest daughter who is 6 and 1/2 months pregnant had the biggest scare of her life, when her partner picked up their daughter from daycare to go for a drive, and was involved in a serious car accident. Amelia was extremely lucky with no injuries, and her car seat strapped into the middle of the back seat of the car. Shane received multiple facial bone and jaw fractures and was transferred to the Alfred hospital where reconstructed the smashed bones, etc. The wonders of modern surgery and they are bringing him home today. Will save on travel, and much nicer to be at home. Just will have to go back for specialist appointments.

Crafting, sharing, spinning day...

Recently I put out an invitation for visitors to come and craft, spin etc. at the farm studio. So thanks to Wendy, Shirley, Dawn and Margaret, we had a lovely day sitting in the shade of the apple trees spinning and knitting, and talking about our ideas and plans for our craft. Wendy wants some of my handspun hand dyed fulled yarn that I have been working on, so have to get some more done for her shop in Rushworth. After spinning, dyeing comes in a close second, because you can plan your colours, but you don't necessarily know what the final result can be. Too busy chatting, so unfortunately no photos of the day. But photos soon of some more of the new yarns.
